Kolb-Sedgley “BABY HAMMERLESS”

Caliber: 22 short

Action: Revolver

History

Sedgley “BABY HAMMERLESS MODEL 1916?  This Revolver, made circa the 1920s in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Guns International suggests this design seems to have originated with the company Foehl & Weeks. However the distinct shape and action also suggests influence of the Spanish company MAB and some belgian gun makers.

The sedgley companies later were absorbed by the Columbian Firearms Manufacturing Company.  Iver Johnson and Harrington and Richards were believed to be part of that same group at one time or another
